March 12, 2018

(U.S. News & World Report) – A fertility clinic in San Francisco experienced problems with the liquid nitrogen in its storage tanks housing thousands of frozen embryos and eggs, potentially jeopardizing hundreds of patients’ chances of having children. The president of the Pacific Fertility Center told The Washington Post the incident occurred earlier this month. However, it is not isolated. A similar malfunction occurred around the same time at University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center, an unrelated clinic near Cleveland.
